I finally finished both butterfly pillowcases – one for each niece. This might not be the most practical gift for a 12 and 10 year old but they sure are pretty and I think the girls will like them.
Those are just beautiful...my Grandmother made an embroidered pillow case each for my Sister and I when I was about that age and she a year or two younger...tatted edge and all. I used mine clear through college and into my adult years until the fabric finally gave way. I LOVED it!!! I am sure your beautiful cases will be loved too, and a gift that will be loved and used is always practical!!!
Can I have one please? They are truly lovely. I'm like Julie and have been spoiled by my Grandmothers. Its something you really remember and appreciate all your life.
