Makena Pattern on Craftsy.com

This pattern is named after Makena, who arrived in the world on the same day this design was created.

I published the pattern on this blog back in 2008 but now it’s available to you FREE on Craftsy.com!

Click here for the direct link to the pattern – you may need to create a Craftsy.com user name and password to access the pattern but it’s worth it.  You will find my pattern there along with thousands of other ones too.

My Tatted Ornament - Makena pattern is free for you to use for gifts and fundraisers.
If you use this pattern, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.

Together, one stitch at a time we can make the world a better place.

I'm so pleased you are sharing your wonderful Makena pattern on Craftsy. I already have the pattern, which I printed sometime last year.

However, for some reason, on my computers and tablets, the tatting directions are not showing up on the Craftsy site - just the photos and the materials list. I'm curious if it's just my computers/tablets (IE9 and Android) or something else going on. I have a Craftsy account, and the pattern doesn't show up even after logging in. Perhaps I'm not clicking on the right spot!

Kathy,
I have no idea why the Craftsy download doesn't work for you but I have a solution. I will email you the pattern.

Hi Monica! My email address isn't listed on my blog, but in any event I already do have the pattern, from awhile back. I appreciate your offer to send it, but you don't need to do so! I'm just glad that others can see the pattern on the craftsy site. Really a mystery! It's a great pattern, and beautifully photographed, plus the balloon trick is the key to the shape!

Hi again! I now have the pattern from the craftsy site. I hadn't fully understood how to obtain a free pattern, by putting it in one's cart! I received an email from craftsy saying I could now download it from the craftsy site and it worked! Sorry for all the confusion on my part!
