Three Colour Tatting

I'm advancing my tatting skills.
I learned how to do a double shuttle split ring.
That meant I had to learn how to do a reverse stitch.

Then I saw this pattern that uses the reverse stitch and three different thread colours.
"But how is that possible" I thought to myself.
So of course, I had to carefully read the instructions and play around.
To drive myself crazy, I tried this technique that uses THREE shuttles.
I think I might just have to play around with this...
